Sept 2014
Grand Prix Cyclistes
Antoine Duchesne, Team Europcar: at 22 years old, Antione became a Professional in 2013 and began the year as a promising up and coming high-level cyclist. His great potential was made apparent quickly at the Polynormande, a semi-classic of the Coupe de France, where he had his first victory placing 2nd.

Hugo Houle, on Team AG2R : at 23 years old, Hugo became a professional in 2011, and in 2012 came in 2nd at the tour de Beauce. He was also 2nd in the Canadian Time Trial Championships. Now, in his 2nd season with this French team, Hugo is showing solid progress. His ability to 'attack' positions him in the front in the breakaways and keeps him at the top in the Canadian Time Trial Championships.

This accomplishment is a culmination of eight years of dedication to athletic development, working with his coach Pierre Hutsebaut to acheive this goal. This is the second athlete Pierre has brought to the level of the Tour de France, following Steve Bauer in the 1980's.

  January 26, 2010 - North Carolina
On January 26th, Pierre Hutsebaut accompanied Kelly Benefits cyclist David Veilleux to the wind tunnel in Charlotte, North Carolina for some extensive wind tunnel testing.
Finding the perfect position for time trial racing is very critical especially when reaching speeds of 50km/h.  At that speed, this type of measured analysis is very benificial for aerodynamics and energy usage. Interestingly enough, after two hours of testing and various position and equipment changes, the conclusion was that David's position, as adjusted by Pierre in 2008, was perfect aerodynamically.  The final analysis determined that there was no advantage to changing it. David's set for the upcoming season, still pedaling hard and fast!
